I want to hit the world

I want to punch this earth so hard

That its entire population have no choice

But to look at me

I want to insert a blade into the hearts of all men and women

And cut out the hate and intolerance we’ve grown for one another

And hold it up to each and every person’s eyes

And let them behold what we have become

I want to burn into the minds of everyone with a branding iron

The idea that we can all live together 

No matter our skin, or beliefs, or culture, or creed

And despite our differences

I want to rip everyone to shreds

So that they can grow outside their shells

And learn that while everyone has their own ideas and opinions

That doesn’t mean they deserve to be silenced

I want to break everyone

Away from their shackles

And let them loose on the world

As free as God intended

Which is, to say,

Completely.
